ISO 16028 Flat Face Couplings Steel
ISO 16028 hydraulic flat faced quick connect couplings manufactured for zinc plated steel with Nitrile (Buna-N) seals. Ends are threaded BSPP Female
These flat faced couplings are designed to give no spillage during connection and also allow no air to get into the flow, they also have a safety lock device.
These are are double shut-off coupling, the coupling body and nipple are valved to prevent leakage.
The couplings are widely used in the public utility market where hydraulic oil spillage can constitute a serious safety hazard, particularly in overhead bucket hoists that are used for maintenance of high-voltage power transmission lines. These couplings are also used for quick change of hydraulic Tools in construction, railway maintenance and mining industries. The ease of cleaning makes them ideal for use in these types of hostile environments.
Working Pressure for the couplings are:
- 1/4" body size 345 bar
- 3/8" to 1" body size 207 bar
These couplings are interchangeable with other ISO 16028 couplings.
