Description

These Sferaco knife gate valves have a cast iron body with 304 stainless steel blade (gate) and are available with NBR, EPDM or Metal Seats.  With a rising non rotating stem, non rising handwheel, Unidirectional tightness ( Respect the flow direction indicated by the arrow).  These valve are suitable for mounting between flanges PN10.  Full crossing threaded lower holes and blind threaded top holes.

Available options include: With lever or chain handwheel, limit switches,  Deflector cone.

The body coating is 50% epoxy 50% polyester painting blue colour RAL 5005, we can offer other seats on request ( FKM, PTFE, SILICONE …)

Metal seated valve have 1% loss factor (not bubble tight)

These valves are normally a 2 working week lead time, although we can express ship if required.

Maximum Working Pressures

The maximum working pressure for these valves is dependant on size, see below:

2" (DN50) to 8" (DN200) are 10 bar

10" (DN250) is 8 bar

12" (DN300) is 6 bar

14" (DN350) and 16" (DN400) are 4 bar

18" (DN450) to 24" (DN600) are 3 bar

28" (DN700) and 32" (DN800) are 2 bar

Working Temperatures

The working Temperature for these valve are as follows (According to seat material)

NBR: -10°C to +90°C

EPDM: -10°C to +110°C

Metal: -10°C to +90°C
