Parkair ISO A Hydraulic Quick Couplings
Use this collection to select Parkair ISO A couplings for hydraulic connections. Identify the mating profile first, then check the exact product specification before ordering.
ISO A or ISO B: which profile?
ISO 7241 defines two hydraulic quick-coupling interface series, A and B. ISO A is widely used in European equipment and agricultural machinery; ISO B is widely used in North America and the chemical industry. Application is a clue, not proof of fit: match the marked series and the manufacturer's mating-profile drawing. A shared nominal size alone does not establish compatibility between ISO A and ISO B.
A flat-face coupling is another profile to check separately: CEJN's X-series, for example, conforms to ISO 16028, not ISO 7241 A or B. Do not select a replacement by appearance or size label alone.
Check these details separately
-
Mating profile: confirm ISO A and the matching male plug/female socket interface against the exact manufacturer's drawing.
-
Nominal body size: match the coupling body size on both halves; this is separate from the end-thread size.
-
End thread: confirm thread type, size and sealing arrangement at the hose or port. Matching threads do not establish mating-profile compatibility.
-
Material and seals: check the specific product's suitability for your fluid, temperature and environment.
-
Pressure rating: use the manufacturer's rating for the exact selected parts and operating conditions, not a universal ISO A or ISO B figure.
Unsure which coupling you have? Send us the part markings and clear photos of both mating ends and the hose/port connections before ordering. We can help check the identification; photos alone may not confirm a match.
