AK Valves was asked to provide 4 x DN150 3 Way Controllable exhaust valves to withstand 600°C Temperatures. The valves are for a research base in the Antarctic.
With help from one of our suppliers we came up with a package to suit the customers requirements, utilising a 3 way damper assembly with 2 linked butterfly valves with BS10 Table D Flanges powered by Bernard Electric Actuators.
These valves will used as heat exchanger valves diverting high compression diesel engine exhaust gases where needed.
The Valves have been manufactured from 316SS with 321SS Blade on the butterfly valves.
